Devin Waterhouse, LISW

As a licensed independent social worker, I have dedicated my practice to helping individuals navigate life’s complexities, understand themselves more deeply, and build meaningful connections.

In my practice, I often meet with people who feel a persistent sense that something is "off," even if they can't quite put it into words. Perhaps you are experiencing relationship issues, feeling lonely even when you know you have people who care about you, or wondering if everyone struggles as much as you do. Many people live with these quiet challenges simply because they don't know how to reach a happier, healthier place. My goal is to help you find that path.

My therapeutic style is authentic and person-centered, meaning our work together is focused on your unique needs and goals. I value showing up as a real, imperfect human and support my clients in being fully themselves. I believe therapy should be a collaborative space for self-discovery. My approach combines cognitive reflection with philosophical contemplation, encouraging you to examine your thoughts and better understand your place in the world. I also utilize attachment theory to help you make sense of how your history shapes your current experiences, giving you the tools to foster deeper, more secure connections with important people in your life.

Outside of my clinical work, I’m all about trying to find the joy in life through family and creativity. I’m a huge fan of Halloween (the season and the film franchise), which occasionally inspires me to try my hand at prop-making for holiday displays. When I’m not watching movies or favorite shows like The Good Place, I enjoy photography and keeping my musical side alive—I like to think of myself as a retired wannabe rock star who still loves to pick up the guitar. Above all, I cherish winding down and spending quality time with my family.
